A note on Submissions, Ratings, and Multiple Accounts

I let this site go unfettered for the most part since it's just a good-natured, fun site. FantasyTeamNames.net does actually serve a valuable niche in the fantasy industry, though. We get a ton of traffic in the preseasons for each sport as players search for good team names. We had a day in the football preseason where we got over 5,000 unique visitors! With that in mind, I need to control things a little bit more than what I am doing now.

I don't want to point anyone out individually, but some members are abusing the voting. Besides it being obvious just by looking through the voting, we also have IP addresses of different members. Some members are creating multiple accounts to vote up their own names. While this is clearly unethical, these same members are providing very valuable content to the site. For that reason I don't want to ban anyone but my hand may be forced soon. If you have multiple accounts on this site, please just forget the other ones exist and continue to use your main one.
